Holographic Rifle Sights

In our EOTech litigation, we learned that a rifle sight used by hunters lost its accuracy in cold weather.

We recovered over $50 million for hunters and recreational shooters.

Disturbingly, the rifle sight was also sold to the government for use in the military. The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York handled that case on behalf of the U.S. government.

Retail Grocery Workers

In a case against a national grocery store chain, we learned that store managers were forced to work crazy hours stocking shelves, working registers and cleaning up without getting paid. Under federal and most state law, workers need to get overtime for that. We recovered $10 million for workers.

Tennis Professionals

In a case on behalf of tennis pros we recovered millions of dollars for them and other workers who were forced to work off the clock for free and did not get paid overtime.

We recently obtained final approval of a settlement in a case we brought in 2017 against Hyundai and Kia for engine defects. The defects resulted in stalling, engine seizure or failure, and in some cases, engine fires.  Under the settlement, over 4 million vehicles are eligible for a free lifetime warranty on the short engine block, a software upgrade to detect problems before they occur, free inspections, and cash reimbursements for past repairs, towing, rentals and other expenses.  The settlement has been valued at $760 million.
